Board Member Lisa Wadsen

Lisa Wadsen – Board Chair
Kwik Trip

Lisa Wadsen is currently a Real Estate Manager for Kwik Trip Inc. She collaborates with the owners on ideal new business locations, LOI and lease negotiations, design, and handles all aspects of construction and getting all supplies and equipment into the facility. She also oversees the capital assets and remodel process for the existing locations. With more than 30 years of experience in management and setting up operational processes and systems for companies to grow.  Lisa has held many different leadership positions at every level in several health and fitness organizations. She graduated from University of WI- River Falls, with a BS in Health and Human Performance and an MBA from University of Northwestern. She currently resides in Bloomington with her husband, David and their 3 dogs. They have 2 children and 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson. She is actively involved in various volunteer roles and loves gardening, working out, riding her Harley Davidson and being outside during the seasons.

Alex Jones – Vice Chair
Cargill

Alex is a Workplace Violence Prevention Program Manager at Cargill. In this role, he leads and supports development of Cargill’s violence prevention program including training, threat management and collaboration across businesses and functions with the goal of maintaining a violence-free workplace.

Alex holds a Masters of Science in Security Technologies from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelors in Criminal Justice from St. Cloud State University. He resides in Bloomington with his wife and sons.

Andrew Miller – Secretary
Danfoss Power Solutions

Andrew has over 20 years of business management experience and is currently the Director of Global Business Process and Analytics where he is responsible for leading the business through a digital transformation journey to improve functional performance and customer experience. Andrew leads a team of data scientists, business analysts, business process partners, and master data stewards, who works with business professionals using design thinking techniques and big data analytics and science to digitize business processes for improved decision making and increased organization collaboration.

Andrew is a lifelong learner, receiving his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Milwaukee School of Engineering, a Master of Business Administration and Executive Management from Carlson School of Management at University of Minnesota, a business analytics certificate from Harvard University, and is studying design thinking at Stanford University.

Cory Bultinck – Treasurer
Wipfli, LLP

Cory Bultinck is the national real estate practice leader at Wipfli. Prior to being the national leader, Cory led Minnesota’s construction and real estate practice. His clients and team value his passion to help others, tenacious approach to his clients’ success and ability to find unique solutions to the most challenging problems.

Cory is proactive in providing real estate industry-specific business, operational and tax advisory solutions. He often works collaboratively with his clients and key stakeholders, including attorneys, investors, advisors and strategic partners. His collaboration and commitment to success have led to many life-long client relationships and a dedicated real estate team that strives toward that same client success.

Kenosha Alexander

Kenosha Alexander, an Alabama native, is the Executive Director of the Sexual Violence Center in Minneapolis, where she oversees operations, fundraising, fiscal management, program development, and external collaborations. With over 21 years in violence prevention and 16 years working in rural communities, she has established prevention strategies, rapid re-housing programs, and a task force for survivors facing homelessness. Alexander holds dual BAs in psychology and sociology from the University of Alabama and an MBA from Marylhurst University. An accomplished trainer, she has led workshops at national conferences and worked with organizations like Praxis International and the National Resource Center for Domestic Violence.

Kelsey Brison
K Mackenzie Design

Kelsey Brison is a highly skilled floral designer and small business owner. Her creative talents have taken her across the country as a freelance designer working on high profile events. With her unique vision and creativity, Kelsey brings a touch of magic to every project she undertakes. As a survivor of domestic violence, Kelsey knows firsthand the importance of Cornerstone. She is dedicated to empowering survivors and sharing stories of hope and resilience. Her passion, imagination, and commitment to making a difference make Kelsey a true inspiration.

Glenn L. Burt Jr.
Division of Restorative Practices

Glenn L. Burt, Jr. manages the Division of Restorative Practices and previously led the Division of Victim & Witness Services at the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office. A decorated Air Force veteran, Glenn served over 25 years with the Minneapolis Police Department, developing the Community Navigators Unit and leading reform efforts. He was a key participant in the 2003 Federal Mediation Agreement and adapted police documents for Limited English Proficiency communities. Glenn is dedicated to supporting victims, guiding them through the law enforcement process, and addressing racial disparities, showing a strong commitment to building trust between government systems and the communities they serve.

Jacqueline Fiore
Best Buy

Jacqueline Fiore, a decorated U.S. Army Sergeant and experienced board director, has over two decades of leadership experience. She excels in enhancing employee engagement, boosting team performance, and driving sustainable business growth. Jacqueline has launched strategic initiatives and supported partners, executive teams, and boards. Committed to empowering individuals, her expertise includes P&L management, succession planning, operations, and talent development. Passionate about ending domestic and sexual violence, human trafficking, and supporting crime victims, her military service inspired her dedication to advocating for trauma survivors, ensuring they receive the necessary support to heal and thrive.

Wyatt Littles
Minnesota Twins

Wyatt is Senior Associate Counsel at the Minnesota Twins. In this role, he works on a variety of commercial contracts and provides counsel on all issues related to club business. Prior to joining the Twins, Wyatt established his practice as a corporate attorney and technology in-house counsel with a unique mix of professional experiences including a pre-IPO Real Estate startup and a leading provider of electric vehicles and sustainable energy infrastructure. 

Wyatt received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Columbia Law School and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Africana Studies from Bowdoin College. Wyatt and his wife live in downtown Minneapolis with their daughter.

Theresa “Tee” McClenty
MN350 and MN350Action

Theresa “Tee” McClenty is the Executive Director of MN350 and MN350 Action, organizations focused on climate change and environmental justice in Minnesota. Tee joined MN350 in 2022 to continue her commitment to serving communities. With over 18 years in emergency medicine, she has seen the health impacts of climate change. Tee has a BA in public health, a mini-MBA from St. Thomas University, and is a certified project manager. She has also worked in labor unions, advocating for improved working conditions as a union steward, chief negotiator, and EVP. Tee’s diverse background includes experience as both a union member and employer.

Christine Miller Barneson
St. Mary’s University

Christine has a background in project management, strategic planning and data analytics for continuous improvement.  Currently she works as an adjunct professor for St. Mary’s University and owner and social/partner dance coach of The Right Foot Dance Studio. She earned her M. Ed in Corporate Training and Knowledge Management from Jones International University and BA Political Science International Relations from the U of MN. She and her husband, Shawn, live in Richfield with their high energy fur-kid Nayla.

Shane Miller
The Minnesota Council of Churches

Shane Miller, a seasoned nonprofit executive with over two decades of experience, is currently the Chief Operating Officer. Known for strategic acumen and financial expertise, Shane previously served as Vice President of Finance, showing a strong commitment to organizational growth and impact. Passionate about driving meaningful change, they excel in building operational efficiencies and fostering sustainable financial health in mission-driven organizations. Shane’s dynamic energy, resilience, and optimism help navigate challenges. Their leadership style blends hope and pragmatism, reflecting their dedication to making a lasting difference in the communities they serve.

Heather Saros
Allianz Life

Heather has over 25 years of experience within the Insurance industry.  She is currently the Chief Audit Executive, and was previously a Senior Director within the Actuarial function for the majority of her career.  These positions have supported her passions around problem solving, focusing on the financial narrative and implementing improved processes with appropriate safeguards.

Heather received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.  Her favorite moments are time spent with her husband and their children in Shakopee.    

Board Member Loren Thacker

Loren joined the board of Cornerstone at the beginning of 2020. He retired from Ecolab Inc. at the beginning of 2022, where he was Ecolab’s Institutional Sector General Counsel. Prior to joining Ecolab in 1998, Loren was an attorney for one of the predecessor law firms of Ballard Spahr in Minneapolis for four years. Prior to law school, Loren worked as a CPA for six years. Loren earned an accounting degree from the University of Minnesota (Carlson School of Management) and a law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. Loren and his wife, Mary Giesler, live in St. Paul.

Martha Wellens
Woodland Strategies, Inc.

Martha Wellens is the Founder and President of Woodland Strategies, Inc. She has over 20 years of expertise in marketing management and strategic planning in a variety of industries. Martha’s earliest professional career experience includes working as an LICSW, working in a Level 1 trauma center as well as with community-based nonprofits. Martha has consistently served on a variety of professional committees and boards spanning her professional career. She is a Hennepin County Master Gardener serving as a Volunteer Community Educator through the University of MN, Extension Division. She also has a longstanding history of invitations to mentor individuals to support a variety of organizations and their stakeholders.
