Support Groups for Youth

Cornerstone’s youth support groups are a great way for children and youth to build trust and share feelings with peers who understand and/or may have a similar shared experience.

Support Groups for Youth

Cornerstone’s support groups for youth are focused on topics that youth may be experiencing at home, in school or within the community. Group topics range from bullying, family violence, anger management, self-esteem and healthy relationships.

  • Young Ambitious Kid (YAK) Boys Group (ages 9 to 14)
  • Girls Group (ages 8 to 12)
  • Children’s group (ages 6 to 8)

Eligibility:
Children, ages 6 to 17, who have been impacted by domestic violence, sexual violence and/or human trafficking. See specific service description for age requirement.

How to Access:
Referrals accepted directly from family members, school staff or community providers. An intake needs to be completed with a youth counselor.
