Support for victims/survivors that is available at any time of day has always been important. But, over the past year, the pandemic has amplified isolation of those who are in abusive relationships. As many of us continue to work from home, the opportunities for victims/survivors to reach out for help has become limited when their abuser is always around.
Cornerstone’s statewide program, Day One, runs the state of Minnesota’s 24/7 crisis line for victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking and general crime. Learn more about the program and our partnership with over 90 agencies across the state in this video. Together, we’re making safety and resources accessible, so that people seeking help anywhere in our state can make one phone call, send one email or text message or reach out via anonymous online chat and get connected to what they need.
