October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM). DVAM began decades ago to honor those who’ve died due to domestic violence, celebrate those who’ve survived and to connect people who care deeply about this community issue.

In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Cornerstone partnered with several organizations on a candlelight vigil in at the Maple Grove Town Green to honor and remember those who’ve been killed this year due to domestic violence:
